  1. Having the oppertunity to meet youand have you help facilitate our class and discuss dating viloence was a pleasure. A class like this is important because a serious issue like dating violence is someting that not only individulas sweep under the rug but the University does as well. Being on a co-ed campus and living in such close quaters as the opposite sex dating violence is something that shoulod be taught to us all. An educational class like like this where we are learning about something that is rarely talked about has impacted me tremedously. I have learned some new things and mindset on things have changed from some of the open disscusions we have had in class, the information that i am learning is something that i gladly extend to the people around me so they can understand the severity of the problem . Having such a small class with people that I am close with allows us to freely discuss our views and share personal stories, while this is a good thing we can get off topic at times. Something that caught my attention and woke me up was when Sheila made a statement saying this was more than a class to her that because of this she lost her only child. That statement alone made me want to focous even more and try and learn as much as possible so I can help educate others so dating violence can becme something of the pass and tragedys such as Asia Adams or Selene Raynor wont occur again
