It's Prom Season; We Want you to Enjoy Your Prom!
It's prom time. We wish your prom time to be a beautiful and memorable experience. However, CDC data shows that 39% of boys feel its okay to force sex on a date who is intoxicated.1 of 7 girls report having been sexually assaulted while on their prom. Many report not being sure they even had sex. This places them at higher risk for std's, HIV, pregnancy, combined with trauma. It is illegal to have sex with someone who is under the influence. Please be careful, use the buddy system, have a designated driver, don't leave your drink unattended. Please see our blog to learn more about Dating Safety.
